JPEG playback:

JPEG is a common picture format used by computers (and now televisions) that require

small amounts of storage per image (using compression technology), with low loss in overall

resolution. Hundreds of pictures can be stored on a disc (DVD or CDR) in this format. In or-

der to view JPEG photo albums, you can ask your ﬁ lm developer to make you a ”PICTURE CD”

when they develop your ﬁ lm, or you can use your own home PC if you have a recordable disc

feature.

Please consult the manual of your PC for help in storing or recording digital pictures for

playback on this device.

Audio ﬁ le playback:

Load a audio ﬁ le disc in the DVD player. For audio recorded discs, there will be a root menu

displayed on the screen. Use the “ENTER” button and the direction buttons to select a sub-

menu, and then use the” ▲▼” direction buttons to select the content for listening. Discs can

have other content besides audio recorded.

During playback, press the “I◀◀” or “▶▶I” button to select track.

Use the “▲/▼” button to select the play mode. Press the “◄/►” button to conﬁ rm. Similarly,

use the “▲/▼” button to select the directory you want and press the ENTER button to enter it.

Press the PLAY button to play the song you selected.

PLEASE NOTE:

The playback of JPEGS or other picture formats is the only intended use of this feature.

Other PC based ﬁ le formats are not supported and not intended for playback on this device.

picture rotation:

Picture rotation is a feature during the normal playback of picture ﬁ les. Once the picture is

changed, rotation will be cancelled automatically. There are four kinds of rotational modes;

use the direction buttons to initiate different rotational aspects.

PLEASE NOTE:

Depending upon how images are processed or recorded by select computer equipment,

rotational features may not always work.
